About the Founders
As part of the position, you’ll work with the founders. Stephen Turban is a McKinsey & Company alum, a Harvard College graduate, and a former PhD student at Harvard Business School. Dhruva Bhat is a graduate of Harvard College, a Rhodes Scholar, and a PhD student at Oxford University.
Student Enrolment Officer Position
The Onboarding Manager role involves a mix of client-facing interaction and administrative coordination. We are looking for candidates who are confident handling data and are able to write and speak confidently with families, students, and mentors. As an Onboarding Manager, you will work with Lumiere’s Head of Program Operations to:
- Manage the process of onboarding a student from the time they submit an application to their official launch in the program
- Work with datasets across different platforms such as Airtable and Stripe
- Communicate with students and families on their admission process and timeline
- Interact with stakeholders including PhD mentors on their academic interests and the logistics of working with students
- Provide regular and timely updates to relevant internal team members about the progress of students in the admissions process

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent and personable in spoken and written English
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, prioritize and manage tasks effectively
- Confident thinking about processes and flows in the context of an automated tech stack
- Comfortable interacting with external stakeholders (e.g. high school students, parents, PhD mentors, etc.) and being able to appropriately cater to their queries
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to deep-dive into quantitative metrics
