Job Description
We are seeking skilled University Admissions Counselors to guide students applying to universities in the US, UK, and other global destinations. The counselor will provide comprehensive, step-by-step support through the entire admissions process, from profile building to application submission. This role involves helping students identify the best-fit universities, prepare standout applications, and craft compelling essays. Key Responsibilities
- Offer one-on-one counseling to students applying to US, UK, and other global universities.
- Assist students in building a strong academic, extracurricular, and leadership profile that aligns with top universities’ expectations.
- Provide strategic guidance on selecting the right universities and meeting application deadlines.
- Guide students through various application platforms like the Common App, UCAS, and others.
- Assist in writing and editing personal statements, essays, and supplemental materials.
- Prepare students for interviews and ensure strong letters of recommendation.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and admissions requirements for universities in the US, UK, and other key markets.
- Communicate with students and their families regularly to ensure progress and completion of the application process.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Proven experience in guiding students through US, UK, and other global university admissions.
- In-depth knowledge of application platforms such as Common App, UCAS, and others.
- Strong understanding of the admissions process at Ivy League schools, top US universities, Russell Group universities in the UK, and leading global institutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to offer personalized, empathetic support to students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and managing multiple students.
Preferred Qualifications
- : Experience in college counseling or admissions at high schools, or through educational consultancies.
- A successful track record of helping students gain admission to top-tier universities globally.
- Knowledge of financial aid and scholarship opportunities for international students.
