The Purpose, Role Definition, and Requirements: The WHY and WHAT for a Talent Evangelist

We are looking for experienced Talent Evangelists to join our team who are excited about our mission and being part of a fast-growing company.

Talent Evangelist should have experience with technical recruiting in a fast-scaling startup and cares about building a world-class candidate experience. This member will be one of the seed team members of our talent acquisition team and this position has the potential for quick advancement and leadership opportunities. We work with leading Silicon Valley firms and global enterprises to help them build a global remote team. Talent Evangelist responsibilities include identifying high-performing talent, curating their profile through our Talent Cloud platform, and helping talent to find their dream job.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full life cycle of recruiting (from sourcing to closing)
  • Develop and build talent pipelines for current and future job openings through all sourcing strategies
  • Manage all stages of candidate experience (including application, screening, interviews and communication)
  • Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire
  • Build an outstanding pipeline of candidates for technical roles across the organization
  • Create an outstanding candidate experience across the entire recruiting cycle
  • Act as a trusted partner to talent who register on our Talent Cloud platform and advise them on continuous learning & career development opportunities

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience hiring for technical roles at fast-scaling technology companies. Proven work experience as a Technical recruiter or similar role
  • Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships with candidates and clients
  • Experience of hiring remote developers from around the world is highly preferable
  • Outstanding ability to source and close exceptional technical talent
  • Experience sourcing and hiring passive talent, from entry-level to senior roles
  • An understanding of the technology industry
  • Experience with Recruitment solutions and systems
  • Interest in developing processes and initiatives that improve recruiting
  • Excited to work at a fast-growing environment
