The Academic Counselor plays a crucial role in guiding students through their educational journeys. Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, psychology, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred, especially in counseling or higher education.
- Experience in academic advising or student counseling.
- Strong understanding of academic programs and degree requirements.
- Knowledge of academic trends and challenges faced by students.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with student information systems and counseling software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other educational technologies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Skills in conflict resolution and mediation.
- Commitment to student success and lifelong learning.
- Professional counseling certification or license preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Background check clearance as per institutional policy.
