As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data into our systems, ensuring data integrity and maintaining high levels of accuracy. You will collaborate with various teams to handle data entry tasks efficiently and contribute to the smooth operations of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Enter and update data into the designated systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established data entry procedures.
2. Verify the accuracy of data before and after entry, comparing it with source documents and making necessary corrections or adjustments.
3. Review and validate data for inconsistencies or errors, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
4. Compile, organize, and sort data for efficient entry, utilizing appropriate software tools or spreadsheets as required.
5. Maintain data confidentiality and adhere to data protection and security policies while handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications in data entry or related fields are advantageous.
2. Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role, with strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to efficiently enter data while maintaining high levels of precision.
4. Proficiency in using data entry software, spreadsheets, and databases (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
5. Familiarity with data entry techniques and best practices, including data validation, verification, and quality assurance.
