Job Overview:
The Invoice Support Specialist assists the Submeter Billing department by helping to ensure high-level customer support by ensuring accuracy, completeness, timely entry, and validation of data in various business systems.
Job timing – 7 pm to 4 am IST
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter building, tenant and meter reading and billing information into Billing systems
- Accurately enter main utility information and other billing and usage information into a variety of reports/formats
- Communicate to Customers and Invoice Specialists regarding abnormalities with readings/utility rates entered in the various systems / reports
- Organize and communicate missing billing information to Customers and Invoice Specialists, tracking assignments in Task Management Tool (Monday.com)
- Create Excel and PDF files of reports and invoices, upload files of tenant charges, and email invoices to Customers and Tenants where applicable
- Track stage of assignments in Task Management Tool (Monday.com)
- Provide courteous and helpful direction for clients to the party that they need to speak with
- Assist with research related to rates required for invoice generation
- Provide training to entry-level team members as needed
- Communicate to other staff members of availability to perform additional tasks
- Participate in company / team meetings
- Assist with efforts to streamline processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 0-1 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Computer skills required: Knowledge and prior use of Microsoft applications such as Team, Excel, Word, and Outlook
