As an Outbound Sales Specialist at our dynamic startup, you will work directly with the founders and play a crucial role in generating meetings with qualified prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting, reaching out to leads via various channels like email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to generate sales opportunities.
- Build trusting relationships with prospects and qualify leads as potential sales opportunities.
- Optimize the outbound sales machinery by iterating on channels, messaging, and ideal customer profiles (ICP).
- Experiment with databases, messaging personalization, and different types of collateral to maximize qualified meetings.
- Respond to inbound leads, automate follow-ups, and continually improve conversion rates.
- Run custom campaigns targeting specific audiences, and set up in-house tooling to ensure effective communication.
Key Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a sales development representative in a B2B SaaS company.
- Thrive in an early-stage setup with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for making an impact.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with experience in lead databases and sales engagement tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to manage leads, pipelines, and automations effectively.
- Willingness to dive into the groundwork and do what it takes in the initial stages.
- Strong grasp of business fundamentals, empathy towards end-users, and understanding of product nuances.
- Adaptable to working across time zones to cater to a global customer base.
- Self-driven with high ownership, a strong work ethic, and the ability to build, manage, and motivate a team.
- Previous entrepreneurial experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience catering to CFO personas and familiarity with billing systems, CPQ, and accounting systems are added pluses.
